Singapore, Apr 2026 – Panasonic R&D Center Singapore (PRDCSG) announced a strategic collaboration with Singapore‑based AI startup Roots Innovation to accelerate the deployment of advanced AI solutions for human‑centric and automotive applications across Asia, including Singapore, Taiwan, Japan and ASEAN countries.

The collaboration integrates PRDCSG’s AI Video Analytics capabilities with Synstream, Roots Innovation’s AI‑powered data automation platform, which validates the ability to streamline data pipelines, improve system integration, and enhance operational efficiency, enabling faster and more scalable AI adoption across industries.

Synstream’s low‑code data automation approach significantly reduces development complexity while enabling seamless orchestration of diverse data sources. When combined with PRDCSG’s expertise in video and multimodal analytics, the solution addresses a key challenge in AI deployment—data readiness—particularly for SMEs, smart city operators, and mobility ecosystems.

The collaboration was recently featured by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), underscoring its role in strengthening cross‑border innovation between Japan and Singapore and highlighting its potential impact in smart cities, healthcare, and automotive domains.

Through this partnership, PRDCSG shall reinforces the commitment to delivering practical, scalable, and human‑centric AI technologies that drive real‑world impact across the Asia‑Pacific region and to the global industry.
