Panasonic R&D Center Singapore was awarded the Jury Prize, while in 3rd position, in the Image Classification track of the 2021 “Visual Inductive Priors for Data-Efficient Computer Vision” (VIPriors) challenge, held from October 11 to October 17, in conjunction with the premier International Conference on Computer Vision (ICCV) 2021, one of the world’s top-tier conferences on computer vision.  The jury-based prize was awarded to the most interesting submission in each track.  We joined the challenge by teaming up with Nanyang Technological University (NTU) to further sharpen our image-based object recognition competency and promote our standing globally.  At that, we submitted to the VIPriors Workshop a technical paper that will be published on arXiv.
