Wu Zheng

R&D Manager

Image Processing & 3D (IP3D)

Wu Zheng is the leader of the Image Processing & 3D (IP3D) Team in the Advanced Technology Group of Panasonic R&D Center Singapore. Now she is focusing on the AI vision technologies for robot and autonomous vehicle system, mapping and localization by multi-camera system and sensor fusion, machine vision deployment for defect detection, safety monitoring and working space monitoring.

She earned her bachelor, master and Ph. D. degrees in 1999, 2001 and 2004, with all from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China. Then she worked as postdoc research fellow in Nanyang Technological University in 2005 and in National University of Singapore from 2008 to 2010. In 2011, she joined Panasonic R&D Center Singapore. Her working scope includes image compression, image enhancement, machine vision, object detection, visual mapping and localization, semantic segmentation, 3D modelling and analysis, and smart integrated solution.
