Tan Pek Yew

Panasonic Singapore Labs
Tan Pek Yew serves as Assistant Director supporting System Technology group in creating machine intelligence base systems and communication solutions for automotive, consumer electronic and industrial market segment. Direct experience in the development of Audio, Visual and Communication technology for smart products and systems for safe and secure living and work space and Mobility services. Co-invented 252 patents of which 55 are US granted patents.
He has been with Panasonic Singapore Lab teams helping business divisions and regional enterprises in delivering unprecedented productivity and performance gains by applying machine intelligence & signal processing techniques in Connected Appliances and smart sensing solutions. To accelerate innovations within Panasonic he is leading R&D efforts to collaborate with startups, external companies and research institutions in smart systems to address global challenges in shelter and mobility.
