Our People

Jimmy has close to 20 years of experiences in both academic and industry and practices. He majored in computer system engineering and has a graduate diploma in business management. He has experiences in handling technical engineering as well as intellectual property issues. He has wide range of interests in corporate IP matters including patent licensing, litigation, IP analytics, business analysis, competitive strategy and IP infrastructure planning and development. He is sought-after speaker for sharing his thoughts in event such as IPBC conference.

Currently Jimmy is the R&D manager of IP Group in Panasonic R&D Center Singapore leading a team of 12 IP professionals in as ASEAN based regional IP operation. The team now handles IP matters for Panasonic in the ASEAN as well as Japan supporting various products such as wireless communications, energy, housing, industrial devices, etc. He is a member of LES and IET.
