Nowadays, most commercial buildings require an air-conditioning system to control temperature and provide a stable and comfortable environment for the occupants. They form one of the important components in commercial buildings. In order to ensure smooth long run of the building, as well as to maintain or improve the energy performance, all of the building components need to be managed and maintained regularly. Common concern from facility managers and maintenance team is how to realize this task easily and effectively.

Florence has started her research in air conditioning smart cloud solutions since 2015, and intensively involved in system integration and installation process. Facing end-customers regularly, she understands pain-points that facility managers and maintenance team are experiencing as well as the needs for simple yet ingenious solutions in managing the building.

Throughout her research, she aims to provide innovative air-conditioning and building management system in general that is able to enrich people’s life towards simple and sustainable lifestyle.
