Job Description and Requirement/Responsibility
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of wireless networking technologies, with a focus on the IEEE802.11 standard and its related amendments.
- Study related technical issues, and work on novel features or techniques to create relevant patents.
- Contribute to the drafting and editing of technical specifications, contributions, and other documentation related to the IEEE802.11 standardization process.
- Participate in IEEE802.11 conferences, representing Panasonic’s interests and contributing to the standardization efforts.
- Monitor and evaluate the standard development progress and technology trends for charting future research directions.

- Familiarity with wireless communication protocols, such as IEEE 802.11 WLAN protocol family at the Physical (PHY) and/or Medium Access Control (MAC) layers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
- A passion and a deep interest in Wi-Fi technologies, with a desire to be at the forefront of research and development in this field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
