Job Description and Requirement/Responsibility
- Conduct research in cutting-edge AI technologies for audio/video quality and compression.
- Build reproducible ML training/evaluation pipelines and run rigorous objective and perceptual assessments.
- Represent Panasonic in standardization activities and industry forums; network with peers to build consensus and identify collaboration opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams (research, product, IP) and global labs; build strong working relationships to align goals and timelines.
- Analyze technology trends and recommend future research directions and roadmap updates.

- Good Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Strong foundations in signal processing and applied algorithm development for audio/image/video.
- Practical experience building and evaluating neural network models for audio/image/video tasks (e.g., enhancement, restoration, compression‑related modules).
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming languages with solid software engineering practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Self-driven, collaborative, and outcome-oriented team player.
- Comfortable with a hybrid work model and occasional international travel.
