Panasonic R&D Center Singapore had a presence at TechInnovation 2017, a technology-industry brokerage event organized by IPI Singapore at Sands Expo & Convention Centre on 19-20 September 2017, to exhibit 12 posters featuring technologies such as artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, data analytics, wireless communications, etc. In addition, Panasonic R&D Center Singapore made a crowd-pitching presentation on “Face Recognition and Person Re-Identification”.

Acceptance of two papers by ICCV’17 Workshop on MS-Celeb-1M: Recognizing One Million Celebrities in the Real World

Panasonic R&D Center Singapore, collaborating with the National University of Singapore (NUS), co-authored two papers that have been accepted by ICCV (International Conference on Computer Vision*) 2017 Workshop on MS-Celeb-1M: Recognizing One Million Celebrities in the Real World, which will be held in Venice, Italy, on October 28th, 2017.

Panasonic tops MS-Celeb-1M Challenges

Panasonic R&D Center Singapore, in collaboration with the National University of Singapore (NUS), has achieved the No. 1 position in MS-Celeb-1M Challenge 2017 , which is organized by Microsoft, for both Challenge 1 and Challenge 2. The results are in alignment with our mission to promote Panasonic’s outstanding Face Recognition technology worldwide.
